Julia Gillard’s Electricity Tax Committee today starts drawing up plans to further push up the cost of power for pensioners, families, householders and businesses.

The whole premise of this committee is that higher power prices will punish people enough so they are forced to use less electricity. We believe there is a better way.
Instead of hurting people with higher power prices we would take direct action with practical measures such as cleaning up the power stations which account for much of the emissions. Read more.
