NBN trust is wearing thin

All involved in the NBN debate are eagerly awaiting the government’s releases of NBN Co’s business plan. We know that it has 400 pages but that is basically all the information that is out there. It looks like the government is playing a high stake poker game by not releasing the details during the current debate. This is of course understandable as it would be impossible to properly debate the plan within such a short time frame as well as in the context of a political debate, simply the wrong timing.

However, for how much longer can the government hold out by not providing the all important background information for politicians, investors and other stakeholders in order for them to make the right decisions? As the independents have rightly indicated, you can only go so far with continuing the ‘trust me’ line. Read more.
