I’ve spent some time this morning listening to this presentation on The UN Global Migration Compact and I strongly suggest and urge you to listen for yourself sometime over the break, particularly from the 43 minute mark and more particularly the last 15 or so minutes.
There can be no excuse for anyone saying they weren’t aware.
In
Australia the Morrison government has said we won’t be signing up to it
and the US under President Trump has said the same, but in this election
year, it is now incumbent on Morrison and his team to elicit a similar
response of non compliance from the prospective Shorten Labor government
as it would seem to me that the objectives of the compact would square
with Labor policy.
Essentially,
although it’s euphemistically called the UN Global Migration Compact,
when you listen to the bullet points as enumerated by Stefan Molyneux,
and strip it all back, it is quite apparent that it is nothing less than
a blueprint for the elimination of national borders and therefore the
nation state that has been the lynch-pin and the basis of all societies
and cultures for millennia.
That’s is NOT overstating what this is all about. It is sinister to say the least.
One
of the final bullet points is that it will be illegal to criticise
immigration and worse, it will be illegal to campaign politically
against immigration or the UN Global Compact, so in effect that
torpedoes the very idea of democracy and the very idea of freedom of
speech.
