BlackRock are only investing in NSW Waratah Super Battery because they know that Clownshow Blackout Bowen is going to destroy the electricity grid and therefore NSW is going to need highly expensive power from Big batteries just to keep the lights on.
Where electricity from coal-fired power stations used to cost $30 Mwh - BlackRock see an opportunity to charge $1000+ Mwh from their big battery.
And yes, Mr Albanese this a "sign of things to come" - a sign of coming Blackouts and even higher electricity prices.
